Master Corporal ROBERT R. MULLAN

Master Corporal Bob Mullan was born in Montreal. His military career began in 1974 with The Royal Highland Regiment of Canada (The Black Watch). He later transferred to the 48th Highland Regiment of Canada in Toronto and upon graduation from George Brown College, he enrolled in the regular force in 1982.

As a communications technician, the artist has served in a variety of domestic assignments and on several overseas tours. His unique training gave him the opportunity to serve twice in the Golan Heights, and in the former Yugoslavia. He has served also as a member of the unified NATO commands in Norway and West Germany.

MCpl Mullan's works may be seen in Contact (CFB Trenton), Voxair (CFB Winnipeg), Tower Times (CFB Kingston), Borden Citizen (CFB Borden), Trident (CFB Halifax), Lookout (CFB Esquimalt), Contact (Ottawa), Forum (Ottawa), Vanguard and the Communications & Electronics Newsletter.
