Royal Canadian Armoured Corps Association (RCACA)


This scholarship offers annual subsidies toward costs incurred through enrollment in bona-fide educational programs at the post-secondary level. Recognized programs include those offered by a university, community college or technical school in Canada but do not include the curricula offered by commercial institutions.


Applicants must be on strength of a Primary Reserve or Regular Force Armoured unit including the RCAC School or be a life member of the RCAC Association. Evidence of enrollment in a qualified post-secondary educational institution must be provided.

Individuals who have received a bursary are eligible to re-apply in subsequent years, provided they have achieved a passing grade in the program for which the award was previously given.


Service to the Corps and/or the Association (20 %)

  • Years and type of service and major accomplishments

Academic Standing (15 %)

  • Submit most recent transcripts and major academic accomplishments

Academic and Career Goals (30%)

  • Usefulness of the current program in achieving long-term career goals

Community Service (15 %)

  • Community service outside the military environment

Financial Need (20 %)

  • Sources of other income and program costs.

Selection Panel

Applications will be considered at a meeting held in conjunction with the Association’s annual general meeting. Individual bursaries will range from a minimum of $500 to a maximum of $2500.

Student Bursary Program
